Songs: Do you like broccoli ice cream?

1. In your group brainstorm about the use of songs in Infantil and in MFL. Complete the diagram.

 2. Think of some vocabulary and funtions that you want to teach your kids.
Funtions: Affirmative and negative sentences.
Likes/dislikes: do you like…? Yes, I do/No, I don´t.
Food: Broccoli, ice cream, donuts, orange juice, pop corn, pizza, bananas, soup.
Adjectives: yucky.

 3. Find a song to use in class to teach this vocabulary and functions.

 4. Write the classroom language you are going to use during the activity:
● Present the activity:
- Good morning-afternoon / Hello everybody, today we are going to learn some food vocabulary so for that we are going to listen a song. Do you want to sing it with us? So get up and come here.

 ● During the activity:
- Do you like broccoli?/ Who likes broccoli? Raise your hand if you like it.
- Do you like ice cream?/ Who likes ice cream? Raise your hand if you like it.
- Do you like orange juice?/ Who likes orange juice? Raise your hand if you like it.
 - Do you like donut?/ Who likes donut? Raise your hand if you like it.
- Do you like pop corn? Who likes pop corn? Raise your hand if you like it.
- Do you like pizza?Who likes pizza? Raise your hand if you like it.
- Do you like bananas? Who likes bananas? Raise your hand if you like it.
- Do you like soup? Who likes soup? Raise your hand if you like it.
- Repeat after me.
- Now we have to repeat the question and answer like the song.

● Motivate:
- Come on. You can do it!.
- Keep it up.
- Good job

● Close the activity:
- Right. We’ve no time for anything else.
- Did you have fun?
- Do you learn something new?

 5. Listen to the feedback of the classmates from your work.
Positive comments: Pause the song to ask the children about their likes and dislikes.
Things to improve: We should repeat the sentences and children repeat too.
